I purchased this leg strap with some hesitation, as I was initially unsure which direction to go, but it turned out to be the right decision. The strap integrates Perfectly with my True North setup and performs exceptionally well. Every product I’ve purchased from GBRS has been of outstanding quality—I truly appreciate the consistency and craftsmanship.
Solid product. Made from the same material as their sling strap. Connectiin to the truenorth adapter plate is only by 2 screws but so far no issues. Used it for about 40 hours at this point. Do recommend.

They owe me. $38 or another safariland adapter set - which wasn't in my order.
I made a reclamation on 12/22.25 and have yet to be answered by a human. I've sent numerous emails requesting follow up.... No answer.
I've posted under the latest YT video. And a SM intern answered asking for. My order nr to look into it. They got it. I followed up on YT, disclosing these facts publicly and now the entire video (Mindset 2026) has been erased. Not just my comments.

its definitely an upgrade from the TRUE NORTH leg strap on the true north MHA. the GBRS leg strap doesn't move. its in a fixed position so the connector is always in the same place. the true north leg strap slides on its actual mount and so the connection moves. the GBRS leg strap is easier to use. the price difference... they cost about the same. i recommend buying the TRUE NORTH MHA and getting the GBRS leg strap for it. i've upgraded all of my battle belts (i have 4 total so far) to GBRS leg straps on my true north MHA. its worth it.
Works great, keeps my holster tight to my leg, almost no lift on my holster when drawing. Love it.
4 stars not because there was an issue with the product. It performs great and quality is top notch. The castle nuts supplied for mounting (pre-packaged from another vendor likely) required re-tapping the threads to be used. From the force required, I assume the manuf. tap was shot. Hope there weren’t other packages of hardware like this.
Why is it sold separately it's apart of the holster it's worth it but little over priceed but worth every penny

Great quality strap.
What I like about this leg strap is it attaches perfectly and was designed for the True North drop down and it's much thinner than my previous leg strap. This made a huge difference in comfort especially on hot day.
I like this strap. Of course True North is the straps foundation. The pistol holster is a system, all the parts of the system brings the holster to the peak of efficiency. Buy this strap to complete your system to the best it can be.

I added this leg strap to my pistol holster setup, and it made a huge difference. No more flopping or shifting during movement—especially when running stages or transitioning between positions. The strap is comfortable against the leg, doesn’t chafe, and keeps the holster locked in tight without feeling restrictive.
Always good to have backups incase something gets ripped off or falls out. Great product
