I had gone through several optic/mount configurations before I decided to give the Hydra V2 Mount kit a try with my EXPS 3-4 and G45. I'm a taller man (6'5") so I find that the 2.91" height is fantastic for me. It gives me almost the same height over bore that I had running a red dot on top of my ACOG, but it gives me the added comfort of not needing to drop my head down to utilize magnification, unlike the ACOG/red dot setup. Streamlined and fluid transitions from 1x to my 5x magnifier.

Besides regretting getting black it’s pretty solid. Even though I’m new to the AR platform I’m a huge fan of GBRS so cannot complain against professionals

The drop bracket is pleasingly very light wieght

Strong, reliable material. All of my different handgun’s magazines fit extremely well in these pouches. They are easy to rip out and get to work love em.

Sturdier and more rigid than the previous version which is a good thing, imo . It also doesn’t stick to clothing as much. It’s a straight forward inner belt that does what it is intended to do.
