Knowledge Transfer Collectives (KTC) is an all-encompassing 3-5 day courses developed to immerse participants in the perfect training day. Each morning starts with fitness, incorporating key movements to help initiate the mind-body connection. The group then breaks to prepare for a full day of flat-range instruction that spans fundamentals to USPSA-style courses of fire, and will build on the fundamentals of pistol and carbine while instilling the mindset for real-world applications. The day concludes with a fireside debrief, and each meal catered by a hired chef.
The advanced driving portion within the KTC course is a high-intensity module focused on tactical vehicle manipulation. Participants train in high-speed and evasive driving, mastering control to navigate obstacles and maintain stability under high-stress, hostile, or harsh conditions.
Former KTC participants share their thoughts and experiences.
KTC 2502 was my second KTC event, and each time I have gone I have been completely blown away by the experience. You will not find a more welcoming trainging environment.
The training cadre are the perfect combination of skilled, patient, humble, and approachable. They will listen to any question you have, and they will authentically engage with you until you are satisfied with the answer. Take their advice to heart, and you will see measureable improvements in your performance.
There is also some great attention to the little details - meals, lodging, and ammo are all included. These little perks make the trip well worth the investment.
These programs are nothings short of transformative experiences. The instruction, facilities, and camaraderie are all top-notch. Starting the mornings off with Vernon for some world-class fitness helped frame the rest of the day. Range time led by Joey felt tight and structured - drills built naturally and the feedback led to instant improvement. Perfect balance between instruction, demos, humor, and practice. The driving segment was pure, high-octane fun with small groups and experienced instructors. Winding down the day with DJ was the perfect way to cap it off, too.
Meeting all of the guys was great and I'm grateful for the bonds made there. The GBRS support crew is incredible and accommodating and the photography can make anyone look good (see attached). You might think all of these exceptional people would be intimidating to be around, but they were all so friendly and approachable which made for an amazing experience.
If you get the opportunity to join a KT or KTC don't hesitate - you won't regret a thing.
This was my first experience with the team, and I have to say this was a "tier 1" experience. I am sure people will want to come just to brush shoulders with "operators" but boy oh boy are you missing out if that's all you're interested in. I actually didn't hear any war stories while I was there, it was literally 6am to 10pm of knowledge dump from Mindset, movement science, (with one of the top trainers in the country) to all the drills necessary to build proficiency in CQB right down to defensive and offensive driving skills. ALL of this while training in an immersive environment at ACADEMI in Moyock, where Americas Elite train.
I didn't know much about GBRS coming into this other than they have a crazy looking Hydra mount. But brace yourselves, this is a !Yuge! knowledge dump in many many areas, (bring a big notebook).
The structure and offerings of the KTC 2501 reflect GBRS Group's training experience as they were trained. Their commitment to delivering high-quality, experience-based training is demonstrated each and every day you spend with them. Their emphasis on Team, personal connection, tailored instruction, and 1% growth every day fosters a training environment that is both rigorous and supportive. If you are seeking to enhance your tactical skills within a collaborative setting while making lifetime friends, then GBRS Group's KTC events present a comprehensive and immersive opportunity that you shouldn't pass up.
If you really listen to them and apply what they are saying you will improve on and off the range!

Hands down best training course in the industry, GBRS instructors are amazing knowledge transfer specialists who can teach to every level and ensure they get the most increased ability possible. The support staff is top notch and ensure everything is ready to train so you can stay focused on growing. Fitness with Vernon was world class functional fitness that every level of fitness can get the most out of. Their event had food, lodging, and ammo all provided. The students and staff are some of the best guys possible to hang out with. The stories from both the battlefield to the streets were well worth this experience. Great Job GBRS

To anyone that is on the fence about these training events, it is one of the best experiences you will ever have. The GBRS family is incredibly welcoming and continues to host an amazing course. Everything is taken care of, from the lodging, to the food and ammo. One of the coolest aspects of KTC is the bond you develop with your classmates. Thank you again to the GBRS family for having me, see everyone at the next one.
Great course great people if you can go go!
KTC is worth every penny. The instruction is phenomenal for all levels of ability and the relationships you build will be with you forever!
I have been to 3 different KTCs, class 2301, 2403, 2501. From the very first class I have learned so much and have improved through the Cadre's and support staff's tutelage (yes, even their support staff are bad as**s in my opinion, couldn't put on a KTC without them!). It does not matter your level of shooter (as long as you are safe and obey big boy rules!), these classes are designed to take you to the next level in your progression. From your everyday Joe to a cop or military personnel, your journey to becoming a better shooter is guided by individuals who were just like you at some point. The Cadre do not yell or scream at you but instead offer clear and concise instruction and nudge you in the right direction. The days are very thoughtfully planned out with food/fitness/more time shooting than most people do in a year/ and wind down with some good old BS sessions. Then they rinse and repeat it for two more days!!! All I can say is if you find yourself with the opportunity to attend one of these classes, do yourself a favor and do it. You can thank me later....****, I might even see you there!
