Does exactly what it says it does. Expensive for what it is but what can you do about it if you want the real deal and not a knockoff or fake copy? Quality is excellent and for the price it should be.
If you have a firearm with limited rail space but still want to be able to run an NVG setup this makes it possible. If you are looking to change the center of gravity it also helps with that too.
For heads up shooting and more urban centric fighting where you are not proning out this mount certainly makes it much more ergonomic and I'm a sucker for ergonomics.
