GBRS Group Lerna Mount Kit

Wish I would have bought this when I first built my rifle. Makes it so much nicer to raise and shoot every shot knowing you’re not wasting time looking for that sight picture.

2.91” seems high until you run it. Then anything else feels wrong.

Package was delivered quickly and everything was excellent. Lerna mount is the perfect height and it comes with the tools you need to install. Always love companies that give some free stickers too. Small way to go the extra mile.

I'm on my department's SWAT Team (part-time team). We do not run with night vision and do not use any type of PEQ's. Thus, I never had a need to buy the Hydra V2 mount (even though I wanted to). I purchased the Lerna Mount for my Eotech HWS XPS2 and the 2.91 FTX Magnifier Mount for my Eotech G43. Both mounts were easy to install, QR code guide answers any questions you might have. Looks great and works even better.
Shooting from a higher mounted optic has taken a little bit to get accustomed to, but I'll be damned if a couple of Navy Seals didn't know exactly what they were talking about. My situational awareness/peripheral vision is much better, I can actually look around and get back on my sight much easier, if I need to. The adjustment in my shooting posture feels much more relaxed and natural. It is much more comfortable and easier to acquire my sight with my gas mask on as well. Even my arch nemesis, shooting on the move, seems easier and more accurate now.
I run the magnifier mount right up next to the Lerna mount. The magnifier's quick remove lever fits snug and out of the way along the side of the Lerna mount, a neat piece of design engineering that shows how well thought through and put together the system is.

FYI you might as well buy some of the reusable fabric tape while getting the Lerna and Magnifier mount. It has come in handy more times than I can count.

I chose this mount for a Daniel Defense PDW in 300 BLK with 5.5" barrel. The short barrel (and therefore short grip length) caused my eyeline to be too high, even with a moderate riser. This riser, however, is perfect for this weapon and the EOTech Holosight I use with it. For CQM/CQB, it is a genius design and will give you the advantage in reaction time and placing rounds on target.

The Lerna mount for the Eotech XPS is an awesome product. The height, finish, and lock up is absolutely perfect. Using the optional torque bit made mounting a breeze. Only thing better than their product is their customer service. I had a slight delay with my order and they went out of their way to call me, explain the situation and get it corrected.

It’s my second Lena mount !! Love it with my pvs 14!! Keep up the strong work GBRS !!

its sturdy and well made, i enjoy shooting with it. posture never crossed my mind till i noticed my buddy headbutt his red red dot with his pvs14. im making the necessary changes to be able to shoot comfortably with and without night vision. i also need the hydra mount to support the acro, its become my favorite dot. thanks guys.

I was a little worried that the mount would be too high but after getting it mounted on the gun with my eotech it sits at a perfect height. So nice being able to keep taller posture and not have to press my cheek into the stock.

I worried I might not adjust to the non-trasitionsl height. No worries. I very quickly acclimated to the heads-up posture and love it.

This is a great accessory that accomodates both my EoTech and Holosun optic. Very ergonomic.

The quality and precision put into this is next level! Once you raise your optic you’ll wish you did it sooner, especially if you’re going to be running masks or nvgs. Fits great on my duty rifle. Plus, it’s made in the USA.
